1 China's Excavator Market Analysis The overall situation of the machinery market

according to the statistical data of the mining machinery branch of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the 25 host machine manufacturing enterprises included in the branch's statistics in 2017 sold 82725 sets of various mining machinery products (including exports), with a year-on-year increase of 101.3%, far exceeding the annual sales of last year (70320 sets). Among them, 77814 sets were sold in the domestic market (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, the same below), with a year-on-year increase of 111.7%, and 4884 sets were exported, with a year-on-year increase of 14.0%

in July 2017, a total of 7656 mining machinery products were sold, with a year-on-year increase of 108.9%. Affected by seasonality, the sales volume decreased by 14.3% month on month. Among them, 6993 sets were sold in the domestic market, with a year-on-year increase of 126.0%, and 659 sets were sold in the export market, with a year-on-year increase of 15.4%

in 2017, the sales of large-scale mining, medium-sized mining and small-scale mining were 11231, 20489 and 51005 units respectively, with market share of 13.6%, 24.8% and 61.7% respectively. Among them, the market share of mini mining machinery with tonnage less than 6 tons has reached 19.5%. With the continuous improvement of urbanization and the increasing demand for machine replacement, the future market prospect of mini excavators is still promising

3 Analysis of the export market of mining machinery

a total of 4884 mining machinery were exported in 2017, accounting for 5.9% of the total sales, with a year-on-year increase of 14.0%. From the perspective of product structure, small and medium excavation are still the main export models. Sany, caterpillar and Liugong occupy the top three in export sales. The average tonnage of some domestic brands' export products has exceeded 20 tons, indicating that the international competitiveness of domestic products is constantly improving

4 analysis of domestic mining machinery market

4.1 domestic market overview

in 2017, the domestic mining machinery market sales volume was 77814 units, with a year-on-year increase of 111.7%. In terms of different regions, the sales volume in the western region is significantly ahead of that in the eastern and central regions, but the increase is slightly lower than that in the Middle East. East China, Southwest China and central China occupy the main domestic markets. North China and Northeast China recovered significantly, benefiting from the recovery of steel, coal mining and other industries, the deepening of the integration strategy of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the infrastructure construction of the Tianjin National Games and the gradual implementation of the construction plan of xiong'an new area. 4.2 domestic market brand pattern

in 2017, the sales volume of domestic, Japanese, European, American and Korean enterprises were 38797, 17026, 13014 and 8977 units respectively, with market share of 49.9%, 21.9%, 16.7% and 11.5% respectively. from the perspective of sales volume changes of products of different specifications, the sales volume of large excavation, medium excavation and small excavation increased by 6651, 10572 and 23828 respectively year-on-year, with year-on-year increases of 166%, 137% and 95% respectively. 4.5 domestic market distribution

in 2017, the sales volume of Jiangsu Province exceeded 6000 units, and that of Anhui and Shandong exceeded 5000 units. 4.6 average operating hours

average operating hours is one of the important indicators to measure the construction demand of excavation machinery and determine the future development of the industry. According to experience, the break even points of large excavation, medium excavation and small excavation are 2500~3000 hours/year, 2000~2500 hours/year and 1500 hours/year respectively. When the construction demand exceeds the break even point, the market demand will increase significantly
